Happy Friday everyone!! I hope you have been able to enjoy this incredible weather that we’ve been having!

This weeks blog is all about making beautiful summer vases! All of the vases and pots you see in today’s craft are available to buy ranging from £3-£7 with all of the proceeds going to raise money for First Aid Africa- a charity I will be volunteering with in September. So first up I found some old vases and plant pots that I thought would look great spray painted. Then I headed out into the sunny garden to ensure I had lots of ventilation! Now there aren’t a whole lot of pics of this process as I realised you’d need more than 2 hands to do this plus take pics so you’ll have to bare with a little!

First up grab some spray paints! I chose some pretty pastels.

Then find some good gloves that you don’t mind getting completely covered in paint (the first time I did this without gloves and It took an AGE to get the paint off!!).

Choose the colour combinations that you think go well together and choosing the lightest colour/shade first, start spraying your vases/pots. Try to apply as little paint as possible as they can start to run if too much is used. Then once you’re happy with them, stand on top of some cling film to dry – I found this helpful as it does not stick to the damp paint on the top of the vases/pots.
